Last Update for the Year...

Hi,

its been like 2 weeks since i last updated but heck lots been going on.

the land @ Hulu Langat is drying out so i am going to start to rotovate (mengembur tanah) next week and leave it there for 1 wk + then i will start my project.

Bio-filters and pumps and tanks order will be placed next week. so will the structure and container and the hoarding...

the only thing now i need to get to TNB Bangi for the 3 phase electricity...sheesh...

will be making a trip down to Johor within 2 weeks time to scout on a new system rearing shrimp.

will report more after that.

Hi,

started work at my rented land in Hulu Langat.
was there quite early to wait for the JCB and backpusher.

Heart Warming

Hi,

woke up early this morning to visit a HIV/AIDS home @ Bandar Tun Razak.

the name of the place is Rumah Soleheh near the Bandar Tun Razak LRT Station.

went there for like 3 hours and had some activities and ate DOMINO Pizza.

felt so sad for the kids though...

Bio Malaysia Expo 2006

Hi,

was at the KLCC Convention Centre for the Bio Malaysia Expo 2006. the expo was not that big as it covered only two exhibition hall. Hall 4 and Hall 5.

One interesting product is called SOS (Save Our Soil) Soil Tonic, by this Equator Life Science Berhad. They have an interesting technology called BioSmart ICT (Instant Composting Technology). Those that have oil palm plantation and an palm oil mill would be highly recommended to have this technology. Very efficient system which requires 1,000 sq m (0.1 ha) but the investment is approx. USD $1 million.

Universiti Malaysia Sabah - Borneo Marine Research Institute.

Talk to a professor there about the chance of me doing practical there when i have my aquaculture project running. he gave me a positive reply and told me please write in to me and i will try my best to accommodate you.

Quiet day

a slow start to the day.

went over to Hulu Langat to check out my rented land. survey that it was sunny and shiny these few days so i think i can arrange for the JCB and tractor to go over and clear out the land.

will be updating on this matter when i have pictures.

at the moment is doing research on the :-
a) Fruit Types
b) Vege Types
c) Fish Species
d) LiveStock Species

for my Agriculture and Aquaculture Project...

Malacca Trip

Was at Malacca for the weekend and i stayed at Naza Hotel . And believe me it wasn't a good place to stay. Wont be going back there again.

a) Bed sucks as the bed they gave me gave way middle of the night and i only weigh 60kgs.
b) 6 and i repeat 6 power Outages throughout the day.
c) the tap on the bathtub takes forever to fill up.

one a lighter note i had this for lunch.
